What Is This?

This site is a free, no-sign-up way to play MASH — the classic pen-and-paper fortune-telling game — right in your browser. Fill in your options for home, spouse, car, job, kids, and income, then watch the magic number count through and eliminate options until your predicted future life is revealed.

There's nothing to install, no account to create, and nothing to pay. Just open the page and start playing.

Who Made This?

MASH has been passed between friends on notebook paper for decades, and we wanted an easy way to play it without hunting down a pen and a scrap of paper. So we built a version that handles the counting and elimination for you, with the same silly, suspenseful reveal at the end.

A Game Worth Preserving

Nobody owns MASH and no company invented it — it's a genuine playground tradition, handed down by word of mouth since at least the 1970s. The rules have always varied slightly from school to school, but the core idea has stayed the same: fill in your options, count out a magic number, and let elimination decide your fate.

We wanted to keep that spirit intact. This version loads instantly, runs without a server, and saves your progress automatically. Nothing to configure, no notifications, no account. Just the game, exactly as it's always been played.

How Your Data Is Handled

Your game progress is stored entirely in your browser's localStorage — it never leaves your device and is never sent to any server. We don't collect any personal information. The only third-party service on this site is Google AdSense, which may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can learn more in our Privacy Policy.
